The Entry Pass used in allows Gregory to gain access to different areas throughout the building. However, the first Entry Pass that's obtained at the beginning of the game will need to be upgraded before Gregory can reach certain restricted areas of the map.
To do this, Gregory will need to hack into the upgrade machine, which can be found in the room underneath the restaurant on the left side of the main lobby. However, Glamrock Chica and some Security Bots will be patrolling the area, so Gregory will need to avoid being seen by them if he hopes to proceed safely.
The free DLC Ruin includes multiple details that point toward one particular ending being canon for Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach.
Gregory can use the cameras to track the patrol routes of the Security Bots and Glamrock Chica to make it through the main lobby. For the Entry Pass upgrade, Gregory will need to reach the upgrade machine located past the kitchen on the first floor. However, the area is currently blocked off, so he'll need to head upstairs to the restaurant and take the employee-only passage through the kitchen and down to the first floor.
There are plenty of hiding spots in the Main Lobby, primarily in the form of Baby Strollers, so be sure to utilize them if necessary. Don't risk getting caught just because you're trying to get through things quickly. Watch Glamrock Chica's path closely.
Unfortunately, before you can even use the upgrade machine, you'll also need something to help you hack it. In this case, you'll need to grab the Mr. Hippo magnet from the Gift Shop on the right side of the main lobby of . The magnet is located at the mystery prize counter on the first floor of the Gift Shop. To get in, go up to the second floor, enter the Gift Shop while avoiding the bots, and make your way downstairs to open the mystery box.
