The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is facing another production issue. Following the death of a horse from cardiac arrest recently, a filming location for Season 2 caught fire today. Thankfully, there have been no reported injuries.
A fire broke out at the London area Bray Studios in Windsor, UK today, April 3. Local fire and rescue services arrived at the scene to discover a single-story warehouse on fire, according to Metro UK. Images from the blaze shared on social media show that the building was seemingly destroyed in the fire.
Deadline reports that it was an electrical fire at a warehouse on the perimeter of Bray's lot. The site said multiple fire trucks responded to the scene to put out the blaze. Filming on Season 2 was paused «for about an hour,» and then began again, Deadline reported.
Entertainment Weekly reported that cast and crew remained on site and filming was only temporarily paused as a precaution.

This was the latest incident for the production of Season 2, following the death of a horse from cardiac failure.
The Rings of Power Season 2 is being filming in the UK, which marks a big change from Season 1 that was shot in New Zealand, the unofficial home of The Lord of the Rings. Many people, including Frodo actor Elijah Wood, said they were bummed about production moving to the UK and out of New Zealand. New Zealand's strict border policies in the wake of COVID-19 might have played a role in Amazon's decision to do business elsewhere, a report said.
Amazon Studios has not announced a release date for The Rings of Power Season 2, but recently, the company announced three new cast members, including Harry Potter actor Cirian Hinds.
