Star Wars Jedi: Survivor launched last week, and though it has been met with positive reviews from the vast majority of critics, the action-adventure title has also caught plenty of flak for the rough technical state it has launched in. The game has issues on that front on all platforms, with PC getting the worst of it, and developer Respawn Entertainment has said that it will be releasing multiple patches over the coming weeks to address those problems.
The first of those patches, in fact, is now out. Taking to Twitter, the developer confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s first patch is out now for PC, and will be going live tomorrow for PS5. It fixes a number of crashes, performance-related issues, freezes, visual bugs, and more. Meanwhile, on PC, in addition to all of the fixes that will be made on consoles when the patch is deployed tomorrow, the update also brings performance improvements for non-raytraced rendering. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has, to little surprise, got off to a solid start where its sales and player numbers are concerned, having seen 2023’s second-biggest physical launch in the UK so far and attracting over 67,000 concurrent players on Steam at its peak.
