Publisher City Connection and developer Happymeal have announced Final Formation, the second installment in its “Sci-Fi Multiverse Trilogy” following Final Exerion and a reboot of the Jaleco side-scrolling shoot ’em up game Formation Z. It will launch for Switch and PC via Steam in 2024.

The game will feature free map-type shooting, the PELL system (transformation and merging system), a soundtrack by Daisuke Matsumoto, and character and mech designs / manga by U-Watari.
