Final Fantasy 14's producer, Naoki Yoshida, has been spotted playing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom during a recent test stream for the game's 6.4 update.
After four years of waiting, the long-awaited sequel to Breath of the Wild (god remember when it was called that?), Tears of the Kingdom, is finally upon us. I'm sure that most gamers are trying to find ways to skive off work and get started on revisiting Hyrule, but that apparently also applies to one of gaming's most beloved developers - Final Fantasy 14's producer, Naoki Yoshida.

As spotted by Nova Crystallis, Yoshi-P made his expected appearance during the most recent Live Letter from the Producer livestream for Final Fantasy 14, which is intended to show off all of the things that are going to be added to the game in its upcoming 6.4 patch. Considering how beefy these updates are, you might expect the game's director to have all of his attention on the stream, but shortly after making an appearance, Yoshi-P could be seen playing on his Nintendo Switch.
What is he playing, you might ask? Well, if you are asking you've clearly not seen the title of the article, but it should be pretty obvious anyway - like most of us, he's playing Tears of the Kingdom. At one point during the stream, Yoshi-P proudly holds up the Switch, which is the limited edition Tears of the Kingdom OLED model, and confirms that he's playing Link's latest adventure. After all the hard work he's done on both Final Fantasy 14 and Final Fantasy 16, he's certainly earned a little bit of Zelda time, even if he's supposed to be telling us about the 6.4 patch.
