Two games beloved by fans looking for a relaxing, laid-back experience are farming simulator Stardew Valley and island life simulator Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The two games have frequently drawn comparison, especially since the addition of farming to New Horizons and the launch of Stardew Valley'smore adventure-focused Version 1.5 update, which allows players to explore a tropical island similar to Animal Crossing's setting. These updates have caused many fans of one game to purchase and play the other.

In addition to the farmhouse where the player and their in-game family live, Stardew fans can build any number of customizable Sheds on their property. Although initially designed for storage, many players have found ways to turn Sheds into fun hangout spots or tributes to other favorite video games.
