A new location was added to Stardew Valley in the 1.5 update called Ginger Island. This is a late-game addition that easily adds in about a dozen hours' worth of content, especially when counting all the smaller content additions added in the expansion. This takes players away from Pelican Town to a tropical paradise that is totally different than anything they have experienced before.

Getting to Ginger Island honestly won't be that easy, especially for players who chose to restart the game to play on the beach farm. Ginger Island can only be accessed after the completion of the community center and after the player is able to help Willy fix his old boat, which will take a ton of resources.
