Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software data for Japan for the week of April 15, 2024 to April 21, 2024.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for Switch was the highest selling game last week, moving 11,585 retail units. The only new game to chart in the top 10 was ARK: Survival Ascended for PlayStation 5, which opened at 4,127 retail copies sold.
On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 64,281 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 21,297 units, the Xbox Series family sold 2,789 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 640 units.
