Because Fallout 4 offers nearly unlimited replay value with its settlement-building feature, many players have plugged dozens of hours into the RPG, including one that has made an incredible custom castle. Since Fallout 4 was released in 2015, many players have altered the entire Boston landscape with game-changing mods enabled, but this player continues to find value in the base game with minimal modding.
A Reddit user recently shared a Fallout 4 screenshot of their castle settlement that has gone viral for its genius attention to detail using the basic building tools. Fallout 4's Nuka-World and Automatron expansions added more items to the settlement feature, but Bethesda made a point from the beginning to offer limitless potential with the initial lineup and settlement locations. Though many Fallout 4 players have branched out to their favorite settlements around the Boston commonwealth, many like this Reddit user have stuck to the original one, Sanctuary Hills.
Starfield May Be Using a Feature From Fallout 4
Reddit user Sirbalz has garnered 10,400 upvotes on a screenshot of their incredible Fallout 4 Sanctuary Hills which has been designed to look like a castle. There are six stone towers with protective columns that reach fairly high up that are connected by castle walls, with Sirbalz sitting in a red chair flanked by their companion Dogmeat and two settlers behind them. There are metal spikes pointing out from either side of the customized Fallout 4 character in Sirbalz's screenshot, and these are wrapped in barbed wire as if to defend the area from Deathclaws.
