You may also occasionally encounter a giant lizard while wondering the wastes. This creature goes by the name of a Deathclaw, and it's one of the strongest enemies in post-apocalyptic Boston. There are many types of Deathclaws, and they each have separate resistances, so it's important to know how to defeat them should you cross their paths.
As you can see in the picture above, Deathclaws are giant lizards that adapted to the irradiated Wasteland after the Great War. These enemies are significantly larger than humans and can use their claws to tear through their prey, easily killing them. As such, most Wastelanders are terrified of Deathclaws, so humans tend to make their home far away from their nests.
Defeating a Deathclaw isn't difficult once you know what damage type they're susceptible to in combat. Unfortunately, there are many varieties of Deathclaws, which means that you may have to adjust your strategy depending on which type of Deathclaw you're fighting.
