Codemasters has released an update for F1 23, marking Max Verstappen’s latest dominant victory in securing Red Bull’s constructors title at the Japanese Grand Prix this past weekend. Additionally they’ve confirmed that the 2023 F2 championship will be added to the game next month.
From 26th September to 2nd October, players will be able to take on Max Verstappen’s time of 1:28.177 around Suzuka, with the reward being an exclusive in-game item: his helmet from the Japanese Grand Prix.
The Pro Challenge with Max Verstappen is the first that will be added into the game, with more to come through October that feature the inevitable 2023 world champion as well as Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc. Those events will take racers to the US, Mexican and Brazilian races that are coming up in that time.

In addition to this are Replay Events from the Qatar GP, US GP, and Mexico GP, that will allow fans to take control of any of the 20 drivers from a replica of the real world grid positions, and new Scenario Events that will feature Nico Hülkenberg from 17th to 22nd October, and Sergio Perez from 23rd to 30th October.
On 16th October a big update will be released, adding the full F2 2023 season update, a sports livery update and F1 esports champions as Icons.
