Ubisoft has claimed that “excellent progress” is being made on its Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake.
In a brief update, the company said Ubisoft Toronto has come on board to collaborate with Ubisoft Montreal on the project.
Toronto is the studio behind Far Cry 5, Far Cry 6, Watch Dogs Legion and the upcoming Splinter Cell remake.
“The game holds a special place for many of us at our studio,” said Ubisoft Toronto managing director Darryl Long. “I still remember how much fun I had playing the original with its breakthrough feature that lets you rewind time.
“We now have the chance to rewind time ourselves, and bring our updated tech, expertise and creativity to modernize this classic game with our partners at Ubisoft Montreal.”
