The much anticipated Evil Dead: The Game is one of the latest entries into the horror games list for 2022. The movie series on which the game is based is a cult classic from the '80s that was helmed by director Sam Raimi. Although the game is only a few days away from launch, the developers have already started sharing teasers of what horror fans can expect from Evil Dead in the coming months.
Evil Dead: The Game was first unveiled at the 2020 Game Awards with a focus on multiplayer-based team play. However, following the backlash over the lack of single-player content, the game was eventually delayed to build on its single-player offering. Now, as the title launch draws near, developer Saber Interactive has shared more details on Evil Dead: The Game's story. This was followed by the developers sharing concept art of some of the post-launch content Evil Dead: The Game will feature.

In a tweet from the game's official account, the concept images offer a glimpse of Castle Kandar from Army of Darkness along with a rough outline of the map. The developers state that the Army of Darkness DLC will be free for all Evil Dead: The Game players and that it's one of many DLCs in the works. Although not much else is known with regard to a possible release date or content updates, the news of multiple DLCs for the game should excite plenty of Evil Dead fans.
