It appears that the 2024 may be released on May 21, 2024. Tentative dates for all of 2024's books were mistakenly posted on social media during PAX Unplugged in late 2023. These posts were subsequently pulled, so the actual date for the 2024 is still officially unknown, and may be subject to change. What is known, however, is that the is the first of the core rulebooks slated to come out.
Wizards of the Coast's online store currently sells the 2014 digital/physical bundle for $59.95, and the 2024 update will likely be around the same price. There will most certainly be a D&D Beyond version of the rulebook, probably priced near $29.95 to maintain consistency. It is also likely that other virtual tabletop platforms like Roll20 will have the new 2024 adapted and for sale around the same price the current one sells for.
