Standing as one of Netflix's biggest shows and expected to run for many years to come, here's what to expect from Bridgerton season 3, including what's been setup for its story and which cast members will likely return. Bridgerton quickly became popular on Netflix when it debuted in December 2020, with its blend of period drama and steamy romance attracting viewers. After some production delays caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Bridgerton season 2 released in March 2022, but that'll likely be far from the end.
Based on the series of books by Julia Quinn, Bridgerton could well run for as many as eight seasons but, with season 2 released, the immediate future lies with Bridgerton season 3. Season 1 adapted The Duke and I, telling the tale of Daphne Bridgerton and Simon Basset's romance. Despite being such a success with audiences, that's put on the backburner in season 2 — which doesn't feature Simon at all, although he is name-dropped on a few occasions — which adapts The Viscount Who Loved Me, focusing on Anthony Bridgerton and Kate Sharma's enemies-to-lovers storyline.

With that, Bridgerton season 3 will likely be an adaptation of An Offer From A Gentleman, however the Netflix show has already made big changes to the books, such as revealing Penelope Featherington is Lady Whistledown much earlier, and that will presumably continue going forward.
