Now in its second season, Chris Van Dusen's modern take on London's Regency era continues to garner rave reviews. Alongside its sumptuous aesthetic design and salacious narratives, Bridgerton has also continued to draw praise for its decision to update Quinn's novels and portray a racially integrated version of late-Georgian society with aplomb. This widespread commercial success has allowed Van Dusen and company to plan an expansive storyline for Netflix's Bridgerton, with the series already renewed for a third and fourth season as far back as April 2021 (via Twitter).
