Sky: Children of the Light is celebrating the return of spring with the Days of Bloom event, beginning next week. Travel around the lands in Sky to take in the flowers, where storms and rain will help them blossom.
The event will last for three weeks, starting on March 25th. For the first week, rain will fall upon Prairie Peaks, located within Daylight Prairie. There will also be four flower shaped event currencies scattered throughout the location. There are five event currencies and in order to get the fifth one during week one, you will have to go into the middle of the storm and be struck by lightning. Or you can find it scattered around with the other four currencies during the last two weeks.
For the following two weeks of the event, the rain will stop and the skies will clear. Once the skies are clear, then it will be time to join other Sky kids and take in the blossoming flowers and the views of the lands.
Join a meditation circle near the Bloom Guide and you can turn into a jellyfish and glide along with other players to explore those lands from a different perspective. Hundreds of players can explore the landscape, from the bottom of the river up to the sky. With the event’s return, there are several locations are also back in Sky, including the pink tree at Home. You can gather here with other players to watch the tree blossom, and to watch those blossoms grow and then fall. Another location, Forgotten Ark, will be covered in wildflowers.
These event activities seem like a pretty perfect way to join others and celebrate the return of spring in the northern hemisphere. Sky: Children of the Light is a colorful game that encourages exploration and shared experiences, and this event certainly has all that. In addition to exploring, there are also some new collectables. As you play through the event, you’ll earn currency you can redeem for items like the lilypad umbrella, spiky spring hair, and arum petal cape.
