The Blade of Calling is the Dagger in Elden Ring that Melina wields if Tarnished summon her for the boss fight against Morgott the Omen King. This unique Dagger is imbued with the Blade of Gold, a weapon art that has its user leap into the air and hurl a single, blade-like projectile at an opponent. The animation is identical to Blade of Death's skill, used with the Black Knife Assassin's Dagger.
Besides their distinctive designs, the main difference between the weapon arts for the Black Knife and the Blade of Calling is that the Blade of Death deals more damage and temporarily lowers the max HP of its target. On the other hand, the Blade of Gold from Melina's weapon is more practical in breaking the Poise of an opponent, granting more opportunities to score staggers and knockdowns. Nonetheless, a primary reason Tarnished might seek the Blade of Calling is to fulfill their desire to roleplay as Melina, becoming a complete «maidenless maiden» by pairing the Dagger with the Traveler's Set from Miquella's Haligtree.

The Blade of Calling is located in a secret chamber within the unnamed grand lift that connects Leyndell to the Forbidden Lands. To reach this room, Tarnished must first have defeated Demigod Morgott to dispel the Unbreakable Seal blocking the overpass to the Forbidden Lands.
The unnamed grand lift of Leyndell can be accessed by re-entering the elevator from the Forbidden Lands Site of Grace or following the main walkway eastward to the lift from the Avenue Balcony. Those starting from inside Leyndell's walls can go up the stairwell near Avenue Balcony. Next, head northeastward up the main road past the gate. Follow the path to the first elevator
