The Mask of Confidence is a helmet in Elden Ring worn by Preceptor Seluvis, a rogue associate of Ranni the Witch. However, this helmet is the hat-less standalone variant of the Preceptor's Big Hat, the headpiece of the Preceptor's Set. Accordingly, those looking to don Seluvis's eerie face mask without wearing his giant hat can use the Mask of Confidence. When equipped, this Elden Ring mask grants its wearer +3 Arcane, the state which determines Item Discovery and proccing Bleed buildup.
To get the Mask of Confidence in Elden Ring, Tarnished adventurers must explore the inverted version of the Carian Study Hall. The tower can be altered using the Carian Inverted Statue, a quest item received from completing Ranni's request. To acquire this statue, players must first get through Caria Manor by defeating Royal Knight Loretta. Afterward, they can make their way to Ranni's Rise in the Three Sisters and make an accord with the Lunar Princess.
