A fan movie that inserts Aragorn from The Lord of the Rings into Elden Ring has recently surfaced online, turning the heads of fans of both franchises. FromSoftware's latest action-RPG takes a few notes from J. R .R. Tolkien's fantasy epic, and many players have taken note of the similarities, with one gamer even bringing Sam and Frodo to Elden Ring.
Since its release back in February, Elden Ring has inspired countless pieces of fan art, cosplays, edits, mods, and more. This community involvement, while characteristic of many other beloved FromSoftware games, seems exceptionally passionate with Elden Ring, as the title has reached a larger audience than any other release from the legendary Japanese studio. Because of this large volume of fan creations, Elden Ring-inspired media is about as diverse as the Lands Between itself, and a number of pixelated illustrations, 3D-printed sculptures, and crossover drawings have graced the game's massive fanbase.

While there have been players who have leveraged the game's character creator to introduce LOTR characters like Gandalf to Elden Ring, YouTube channel eli_handle_b.wav has taken things one step further. The channel recently uploaded a video called Aragorn in Elden Ring which, true to its name, depicts the Lord of the Rings hero making his way through many of the same trials and tribulations that players will face; Aragorn is shown storming the beaches against Radahn, summoning spirits to fight Margit, and even exploring the murky Siofra River region, torch in hand. This video is part of a larger series from this channel, one that is supported by donations through the eli_handle_b.wav Patreon.
