The Tonic of Forgetfulness is a quest item in Elden Ring used to cause an NPC to forget their distresses and bitter memories. Naturally, the Tarnished protagonist cannot consume this tonic, nor can they interact with it. Instead, the Tonic of Forgetfulness can only be used as a special dialogue option for two characters during specific time frames of their questlines. These two NPCs are Rya, the scout of Elden Ring's Volcano Manor, and Brother Corhyn, the Holy Practitioner of the Roundtable Hold.
Elden Ring players will encounter Brother Corhyn first on their journey in the Lands Between when Melina invites the protagonist to the Roundtable Hold. Corhyn will be standing in the central room near the wall beside the left hallway. Tarnished can purchase Incantations from him and increase his offerings by delivering him spell tomes. However, he will relocate once players have rested at a Site of Grace within the Altus Plateau. As for Rya, her first location is beneath the pavilion found directly east of Scenic Isle in Liurnia of the Lakes. Tarnished adventurers can help her retrieve her necklace to receive a formal invitation to Volcano Manor atop Mt. Gelmir.

After joining the Volcano Manor's «family,» Elden Ring fans must explore the manor's exterior using the Drawing-Room Key from Lady Tanith. Next — in no particular order — players must
