Elden Ring: How to Find (& Use) Ruins Greatsword

The Ruins Greatsword is a Legendary Armament inElden Ring that deals massive physical and magic damage. In order to acquire the Ruins Greatsword players will have to reach Redmane Castle before defeating two Great Shard Bearers. If two Great Shard Bearers have already been defeated, the Ruins Greatsword in Elden Ring will despawn from Redmane Castle.

The Ruins Greatsword is located inside Redmane Castle in the southeast point of Caelid. When players are near Redmane Castle there will be a great bridge, cross this bridge and avoid all incoming fireballs by dodging and jumping with Torrent, the player’s horse. Once the bridge has been crossed take a left towards the main gate.

Be wary of a ballista and a giant troll that will come barreling down from above, ride past the troll and there will be a small path to get inside Redmane Castle. Stick to the castle wall and avoid any enemies on the way. When players reach the end of the path, there will be a ladder, take this ladder to the top to get inside Redmane Castle.

There will be multiple enemies inside Redmane Castle, a few types of Elden Ring enemies players should be aware of are the Fire Crossbow User, 2 Dark Lions, Spinning Giza, and Turret Grunts. Players will have to maneuver through the castle and reach a building with a Site of Grace called Chamber Outside the Plaza. There will be a fog wall outside the Site of Grace, enter it in order to start the fight that drops the Ruins Greatsword.

Players should take note, that in this fight there will be two mini-bosses. Players will need to prioritize killing the Misbegotten Warrior as the second boss, the Crucible Knight, will appear halfway through the battle.
