Nintendo Switch Sports has finally arrived, with a number of accessibility options for players to choose from. As the successor to the wildly popular Wii Sports on Nintendo's previous console, the game already has a built-in audience. The party games included in both titles make them great options for families and friends. As the player base grows, so does the need for a wide range of accessibility options.
Each game inNintendo Switch Sports relies on motion controls. From simple to large swinging movements, the title captures them all. Unfortunately, there appears to be no way to play the game with alternate controls. Fans can, however, change their dominant hand and leg from left or right in the User Settings menu. Players are also given this option the first time they select a sport using a new avatar. Based on the footage shown before release, Nintendo Switch Sports didn't seem to include Miis like its predecessor, but Sportsmates instead. Now that the game is out, players can in fact use Miis created on the console, by selecting the option under the Body in character creation. Regardless of the type of avatar created, there are no gender choices, allowing everyone to wear whatever they want. Nintendo's new title has many more options for inclusion.

The Options menu contains three different levels of customization, User Settings, How To Play, and Alternative-Color Mode. The latter swaps the color pallette, assisting players with color blindness or color vision deficiency. Overall colors appear to be dulled slightly and less harsh on the eyes.
