Elden Ring doesn't put many restrictions on players, letting them more or less run wild in the Lands Between. Elden Ring makes it possible for players to kill almost any NPC they come across in the game, friendly or not, though doing so can have some severe consequences. One area where Elden Ring players aren't supposed to be able to attack anyone is the Roundtable Hold, but mods make it possible.
The Roundtable Hold in Elden Ring is one of the few places in the game where players can't freely attack, and so most of the NPCs there are safe. This includes the Two Fingers, a divine entity of sorts that plays an important role in Elden Ring lore. Normally Elden Ring players have no way of attacking the Two Fingers, but a YouTuber named Garden of Eyes used mods to make it possible, revealing exactly what happens if the Two Fingers are killed.

Oddly enough, the Two Fingers inElden Ring actually have their own health bar, though they don't fight back against the Tarnished. Instead, the Two Fingers more or less stay in place, reacting to each hit, until finally their health bar is depleted. Once the death blow is dealt, the Two Fingers die, and FromSoftware even included a death animation for them.
Since the Two Fingers have a health bar and a death animation, it stands to reason that there may have been a point when FromSoftware planned on letting players kill the Two Fingers without the use of mods. After all, data miners have found evidence of other Elden Ring content that was left on the cutting room floor, so it certainly wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility for this to be another example.
