In a recent video by YouTube channel VG Tech, the channel compares how The Witcher 3 runs in performance mode on the Xbox One X and how it compares to the Xbox Series X running the game, also in performance mode. The results are impressive.

Many fans still consider it to be one of the best-looking games even in 2022. Since 2015, The Witcher 3 has sold 40 million copies making it one of the most successful games in CD Projekt Red’s portfolio. Visually intense games like The Witcher, along with the advent of 4K televisions, pushed Microsoft to create a mid-generation refresh of their Xbox One console in the form of the Xbox One X, a powerful machine capable of higher frame rates at higher resolutions. Despite being over four years old, the Xbox One X still performs well, and VG Tech's recent benchmarks put the console in a positive light.
