By now, Fortnite fans will be familiar with the Soundwave Series, live events, and various collaborations. In the past, Epic Games has put on shows from Tones and I, Mohamed Hamaki, and many more. So far, all the shows have proven to be a hit. And Fortnite is continuing to celebrate artists and their music from all over the world. Another Fortnite Soundwave Series is just around the corner, and this time, Emicida is taking the stage.
The next artist to go under the spotlight is a Brazilian rapper. Epic Games describes the interactive experience as being inspired by Emicida’s life journey and how it has influenced his music. His set will tell the story of how he grew up and went from participating in street rap battles to becoming a successful artist.
To take part in the show, all you have to do is load in to the Soundwave Series: Emicida playlist when the show goes live on April 29 at 6 p.m. ET. The show will repeat on a non-stop loop until May 2 at 6 p.m. ET. So you’ll have plenty of time to hop in to the show and watch it as many times as you please. Once the show has ended, you will earn some XP towards leveling up your battle pass. To remind you of your experience, you will also get the Soundwave Series: Emicida spray added to your Fortnite locker. If you want to get ready to dance before the event, the Keep Going lobby track and the Triumphant emote will be added to the in-game store on April 28.
Apart from Emicida, there is still a lot to look forward to regarding the Fortnite Soundwave Series. Japanese pop artist and music producer Gen Hoshino and record-breaking French-Malian singer Aya Nakamura still have their own shows coming up.
