AnElden Ring player found a unique way to one-shot a Runebear, despite the difficulty of the enemy in the game. FromSoftware's open-world title has been out for over a month and the community has started to develop and share unique strategies they have uncovered during their time in the Lands Between. While some of these tricks and tips apply to the overall gameplay in Elden Ring, others show clever use of terrain, strategy, and skill while in battle.
While most enemies in Elden Ring can be encountered and fought without planning ahead, often times this is not the optimal strategy. Many foes found throughout the Lands Between, especially bosses, have substantial health bars and can often take down the Tarnished in just a few hits. To improve the chances of success, the community has discovered a wide variety of tricks to deal with these foes. For example, using Freezing Pots on Elden Ring's Malenia to prevent her deadly Waterfowl Dance attack, among other helpful strategies.

Reddit user dummy_pants recently demonstrated another unusual exploit that resulted in taking down a Runebear with one hit. These large, aggressive enemies usually take some effort to bring down and are considered a decent challenge for players. However, in the clip, the Tarnished uses the environment to their advantage. The encounter shown against Runebear took place at the feet of a Walking Mausoleum, which can also be quite deadly for players who are not careful. Fortunately, Walking Mausoleums do not specifically target the main character, and the player was able to crush the Runebear under the Walking Mausoleums' feet after luring it within range.
