Parry Ash of War is a Weapon Skill in Elden Ring. Parry can be added to a multitude of Melee Armaments and off-hand equipment. This includes Daggers, Curved Swords, Thrusting Swords, Fists, Claws, Small Shields, and Medium Shields. Players can find this Elden Ring Ash of War in many different forms and Armaments as they explore the map.
One of the fastest ways of getting Parry is by choosing a starting class with a Shield that has Parry already equipped. Classes with those shields include Hero, Bandit, Astrologer, Warrior, Prisoner, Confessor, Vagabond, Prophet, and Samurai. Alternatively, players can also visit Merchants around the world that sell it.

Most Merchants sell small to medium shields with the Parry Ash of War already equipped. If players want the Ash of War separate from any Shields or Melee Armaments, they will have to purchase or get it from Knight Bernahl, located at the Warmaster’s Shack, East of Stormhill Castle, in Limgrave.
Players should also take note that Knight Bernahl in Elden Ring does move to a second location, Volcano Manor. If players do not meet with Bernahl or purchase Parry at the Warmaster’s Shack, they will have to meet him at the Volcano Manor and buy it from there. Players can also kill Knight Bernahl, and he will drop the Bernahl’s Bell Bearing. Players can give the Bell Bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks at the Roundtable Hold to be able to purchase it from the Roundtable at any time.
