EA Sports is gearing up to release on July 19. Developers held a gameplay deep dive at the end of May, with EA revealing its toughest stadiums and best teams last week. Now, the studio’s offering a detailed look at Dynasty Mode in College Football 25.
EA Sports says it built College Football 25’s Dynasty Mode around the pillars of “Build Your Coach,” “Build Your Program,” and “Deliver the World of College Football.” The mode supports up to 32 teams and lets players experience the new 12-team playoffs months before the real ones begin. It also offers extensive conference customization, allowing football fans to set divisions, rules, conference size, and membership.
The game sorts coaches into three categories: Recruiters, Motivators, and Tacticians. No one is universally best with EA describing a Rock-Paper-Scissors relationship. Each archetype gives Coaches and Coordinators different upgradable abilities. Coaches also need to both manage staff and keep the school administrators satisfied with the team’s performance. You can choose to start as an offensive or defensive coordinator and work your way up or take the role of Head Coach right from the beginning.
Meanwhile, program building in College Football 25’s Dynasty Mode involves players in a multi-stage recruitment process. Coaches must scout for new players, get them onboard, and keep them from leaving. “Some years have a plethora of great quarterback talent, while others have fewer great prospects,” said EA Sports. “Similarly, the quantity and quality of prospects from each region of the country will vary. Certain regions will be more consistent in the caliber, quality, and type of recruits they produce than others.”
