Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Omega Force have announced Dynasty Warriors: Origins for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (Steam). It will launch in 2025.

“For almost 30 years, the Dynasty Warriors franchise has been built by delivering not only a sense of realism on the battlefield, but by the exhilarating action of 1 vs. 1,000 gameplay,” said Dynasty Warriors: Origins producer and head of Omega Force Tomohiko Sho in a press release. “With Dynasty Warriors: Origins, we return to these roots and deliver the non-stop action to not only our most loyal fans of the series, but to all game fans worldwide, delivering the most thrilling warfare we’ve ever been able to create.”

Warcraft UPS New Sword Model Found in Season of Discovery Phase 4 PTR

The model for a new sword — half of Mannoroth's broken glaive from Demon Fall Canyon — has been datamined on the Season of Discovery Phase 4 PTR! We've recently reported on the possibility of a new dungeon instance coming to Ashenvale in Phase 4, and one of the related items, the Dreadblade of the Destructor, isn't just a random addition — its model holds deep significance to the area, being half of Mannoroth's broken glaive. Demon Fall Canyon certainly earned its name — according to Warcraft Wiki, this cursed area was the site of the final confrontation between Mannoroth and two of the greatest Orc heroes — Thrall and Grommash Hellscream. With Thrall unconscious due to the Pit Lord's relentless attacks, Grommash Hellscream made his final stand, smiting both Mannoroth's glaive and Mannoroth himself.
