Dying Light 2 is well over a year old at this point, but developer Techland has been sticking to its promise of five years of post-launch support with a range of exciting new updates and story expansions. In it's latest efforts to provide players with even more stuff to do in the city of Villedor, Techland has announced that it will be teaming up with The Walking Dead publisher Skybound Entertainment for a "thrilling" crossover event presumably at some point later this year.
Announced via the official Dying Light 2 Twitter account, the crossover event will allow players to "survive, scavenge, and slay the undead like never before." We don't know much else about what this event will entail or what it might bring to Dying Light 2 in terms of new content, but we did get a snazzy piece of art that depicts the game's world in The Walking Dead comic style. That's all we've got to go on right now, but Techland also says that it'll give us some more info soon.

If you're looking for something to jump into right now, Techland just released a new Dying Light 2 update which drastically overhauls the game's night mechanics and parkour system.The Good Night, Good Luck update has made it so exploring the streets at night is much scarier and more dangerous prospect, as you'll find its now much darker and that Volatiles now freely roam the streets, hunting down those that dare to brave the streets of Villedor after the sun goes down.
If you're waiting for something a little bit more substantial, Techland confirmed earlier this year that the game's big new story expansion should be with us before the end of 2023. It's promising to be a pretty big one for longtime
