DROS is coming to Switch on July 12th
thesixthaxis.comRedDeer Games, in collaboration with developer emergeWorlds, has announced the release of the dark fantasy adventure game DROS for the Nintendo Switch. The game is set to be available starting July 12th. Initially introduced as a demo on Steam in 2021, DROS had a successful Kickstarter campaign in early 2023, and has been available for purchase on Steam since July 20th, 2023.
In DROS, players alternate between two characters who work together on the mission to destroy the Alchemist’s Tower, also referred to as the Machine. The protagonists are the Captain, a skilled bounty hunter, and Little Dros, a magical slime creature. Each character possesses their own distinct abilities, which will all be needed in the mission to bring down the Machine. The Captain is a combat specialist and, going by the trailer, can move heavy objects within the game’s stages, while Little Dros wields magical powers that are useful for puzzle-solving and navigating the challenges presented throughout the 40 levels.
DROS is priced at £16.75 on Steam, and the price is likely to be similar on the Switch.
