The Harbingers of Ruin update for Last Epoch will add major features, new mechanics, the Nemesis system, and more. The team is now detailing some of the quality of life changes in the update, which is out July 9th.
First up, Blessings. Try some things in your build and the blessings just aren't working? You can change your blessings without losing any progress for a small gold fee.
There's a twist though, the Blessing Stash. When you pay that fee, you can swap between blessings that your current character has earned or choose from base-level rolled blessings any of your other characters have earned in the same game mode. If you choose that option, you'll be able to unlock better versions on your current character.
So set to get some improvements include ladders and competition, so there will be a brand new level ladder added and timestamps on Arena ladders. there will also be a search box on the timeline map with buttons to make common reward searches easier to filter. loot filters are also getting new filter options for easier searches.
New ranks are also coming with an adjustment to progression that makes you need a little less reputation to achieve the maximum rank in 1.1. There's a lot more detail in the devblog, but the team is trying to foster healthy competition and to make competition, as well as rewards and loot much clearer. Among the rank changes include new ranks to increase boss-specific loot in Circle of Fortune.
They’re also giving Corruption some tuning to not just address feedback on pain points, but to polish up this core of the Monolith of Fate endgame. Among the changes include making gaining corruption in parties easier, in addition to improved Corruption catch-up mechanics.
In addition to a bunch of class balance tweaks, Eleventh Hour is also addressing Ward balance.The ward decay formula will change to improve retention for lower values and speed up decay for values over 10,000.
