Vocations are everything in Dragon’s Dogma 2 and two of the earliest vocations you can unlock are the Warrior and the Sorcerer. Very early in the game, you’ll reach the capital of Vernworth — and here you’ll be able to unlock additional vocations by completing a quest for the Vocations Guild. You don’t even need to complete the quest — as long as you bring the Vocation Guild a Greatsword and an Archistaff, you’ll be able to unlock these vocations.

Talking to the Vocation Guild will unlock the quest ‘Vocation Frustration‘ — the vendor will ask you to help get supplies for Roderick’s Smithy.
You can freely explore Trevo Mine and collect the weapons there even if you don’t take the quest. You’ll need to be Level 5-10 before attempting to clear Trevo Mine. To acquire the weapons, look in large chests with round tops. Large chests always contain weapons, armor, accessories or valuable items.
With both weapons acquired, return to Vernworth and trade the items to the Vocation Guild. You’ll unlock both the Warrior and Sorcerer class. Each class costs 150 Dcp to unlock from the guild or any inn. You can also purchase the gear associated with
