Disney Dreamlight Valley Welcomes Monsters Inc's Mike and Sulley in Upcoming Update | Push Square

This week sees the arrival of another big, free update for Disney Dreamlight Valley. The life sim had its full 1.0 launch back in December, and the imminent Laugh Floor update will be the first major addition of 2024. As its name implies, the focus is on Disney and Pixar's Monsters, Inc., bringing main characters Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan, or Sulley, to the game.

The update adds a new Realm, allowing you to experience a «day in the life» at Monsters Incorporated. Once complete, Mike and Sulley will be available as villagers, allowing you to befriend them and unlock some monster-themed items. The update also adds lots of new cosmetic items, including skin tones, special contact lenses, and new ear shapes to let you go full monster.

Beyond the Monsters, Inc. stuff is a bunch of other additions and improvements. Scrooge McDuck's shop has been expanded to feature more items each day, and doors will be available to purchase once again. The update also adds the option to change your avatar's name, as well as more optional items in the Premium Shop and some new DreamSnaps challenges.

You can check out the full patch notes through the link, which also detail a whole host of bug fixes. The Laugh Floor update will go live on 28th February, 2024 — that's this Wednesday.
