Disney Dreamlight Valley players can craft Fiber by using Seaweed. Once they bring Moana to the Village, her first Friendship Quest will involve fixing a broken boat on Dazzle Beach. Players are required to collect a couple of items for her, specifically, 50 Softwood, 70 Fiber, and 3 Pink Hydrangeas.

Before players can craft themselves some Fiber at a crafting station, they will first need to get their hands on some Seaweed. Seaweed can be found on the sand on Dazzle Beach, and players can get some by using their Royal Fishing Rod at the beach. But, instead of casting the line on the bubbles, try fishing in any random spot. There's still a chance for a fish to appear, but Seaweed should be pulled in most of the time with this method.
Remember that Seaweed can also be found in the following locations: Peaceful Meadow, Sunlit Plateau, Forest of Valor, Forgotten Lands, Glade of Trust, and Frosted Heights.

Once players have some Seaweed in their inventory, go ahead and find the closest crafting table. Interact with it, and then the Fiber recipe should appear in the Refined Material tab. For every piece of Seaweed, players can obtain five pieces of Fiber. So, to gather 70 Fiber for Moana, players mustget at least 14 Seaweed.
Later on, players might need to craft some Rope, which can be crafted using Fiber, eight pieces to be exact.
