Whether it is for cooking, crafting, or a quest, there all sorts of resources that can be found in the later biomes. One such material that players will progressively run into more as they unlock biomes are Gold Nuggets. This guide will show players where they can get Gold Nuggets along with what they are used for.
Gold Nuggets can only be found in three biomes. Those three biomes are Sunlit Plateau, Frosted Heights, and the Forgotten Lands. Disney Dreamlight Valley players should focus on unlocking either Sunlit Plateau or Frosted Heights first, as it takes far less Dreamlight to open those biomes as opposed to Forgotten Lands which requires 15,000 Dreamlight to unlock. While Frosted Heights does have some ice blocking half of the biome, completing Elsa's Friendship Quests will allow players to remove them.
In those three biomes, Disney Dreamlight Valley players can find Gold Nuggets by mining the large black rocks that spawn along the walls of those biomes. In order to have a better chance at getting more Gold Nuggets, players should bring along a companion who has the Mining Role. Doing so will allow players to stock up on Gold Nuggets.
The primary use for Gold Nuggets is crafting. The first thing that Disney Dreamlight Valley players will be able to craft with Gold Nuggets is a Gold Ingot. This big bar of gold requires five Gold Nuggets and one Coal Ore to craft.
