As players explorer the biomes in Disney Dreamlight Valley, they will come across many little animals (or critters as the game refers to them) roaming around. Each biome has a unique animal that can be encountered in four to five different colors, though some may be out of reach until obstacles like tree stumps and mushrooms can be removed. Players also may notice that it is possible to feed these animals, but there is no real clear indication of what each animal would want.

Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Get Early Access
Sea Turtles can only be found on Dazzle Beach. As mentioned above, there are five different kinds of Sea Turtles that can be encountered. As a way of encouraging Disney Dreamlight Valley players to come back to the game every day, not all five Sea Turtles are active at once. Even then, there are some that only appear at certain hours. For example a Black Sea Turtle only appears between the hours of 10 AM to 4 PM local time. Other kinds like the Brown Sea Turtle are available all day when they are active.
When encountering Sea Turtles, Disney Dreamlight Valley players should feed them Seaweed as it is their favorite food. If players don't have any Seaweed, it won't be too difficult to get some as Seaweed is easily found when fishing at Dazzle Beach. There are no other foods that Sea Turtles will eat, so players should not bother trying to give them anything else.
