Since gardening is such a big part of Disney Dreamlight Valley, a trellis is a great addition to one's backyard or even a farm. This guide will talk about the trellis item and how to craft it.
Before crafting a trellis, it's necessary to acquire its recipe. Some recipes can be unlocked at random as the player goes about their day doing all of the available activities in the Valley. However, the trellis is a recipe that's unlocked through main story progression. To get the trellis crafting recipe, the player has to complete the Shy Little Robot quest, the quest where they have to bring Wall-E back to the Valley.
Once Wall-E's gotten back to the Valley and settled into his new home, a new quest can be started, the Village Project: The Garden quest. There is an abandoned garden near Merlin's house and the small robot would like to renovate it. This is a great addition to the village since aesthetically it's much more pleasing than an abandoned garden and Wall-E will also plant seeds in his free time that the player can harvest later on.
For the garden to be restored, the player will have to give Wall-E five sugarcane seeds, five wheat seeds, a trellis, and three burlap bags. This is precisely when Wall-E will hand out the trellis crafting recipe.
