There are many resources that can be acquired in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Some are used for cooking while others are used for crafting. Some resources in the game could be seen as the basic building blocks of crafting in Disney Dreamlight Valley. While Iron Ore could certainly be considered to be one of those resources, another one would be Cotton.

In contrast to Iron Ore, Cotton can be found later on in the game. In spite of that, a lot of crafting recipes that are currently in the game require it. This guide will show Disney Dreamlight Valley players where they can find Cotton and what it is used for.
While many resources grow on their own, that is not the case for Cotton. In order to get Cotton, Disney Dreamlight Valley players will need to plant it themselves. In order to do this, players will need to unlock the Sunlit Plateau biome. After unlocking it, players will need to find Goofy's Stall and repair it.
This is the stall where players will be able to purchase Cotton Seeds, but they may need to upgrade the stall at least once in order to purchase them. Cotton Seeds only cost 42 Star Coins, so players can easily purchase as many as they need. If players happen to be short on Star Coins, there are quite a few ways to get more.
While some crops that can be grown by Disney Dreamlight Valley players take several hours to grow, that is not the case for Cotton. Once they have been planted and watered, Cotton takes 25 minutes to fully grow. As far as location goes, it doesn't matter where players choose to grow Cotton as it can grow in any biome.
