You may have found some of these Ingots on your travels and not known how to use them. Alternatively, perhaps you require some Nickel Ingots and don't know where to get them. The Valhalla map is filled with golden icons that signify the location of some wealth. Several of them also point to chests or enemies that have Nickel Ingots.
They aren't just in every area, though. Nickel Ingots only appear in regions with a suggested power of 55 to 160.

So, to acquire the resource you seek, go to these locations and grab the wealth there.
The Nickel Ingots will initially look like a gold dot on the map before becoming three gold bars when you get close.
If it's in a chest, you can just hold the button prompted to loot it. If it's on an enemy, you can pickpocket them or steal from their corpse.
Once you've found one Nickel Ingot, you don't need to go searching to find more. Instead, you can simply head to a merchant and buy additional ones.
Naturally, you'll need some silver to make the purchase, but if you have plenty of coins, it is a viable way to acquire Nickel Ingots.
