Now, Disney's newest game will allow players to live side-by-side with their favorite iconic characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
While Disney's most notable outing within the gaming industry has been the smash success of the previously mentioned Kingdom Hearts, the animation juggernaut has often created games surrounding its own characters with a more light-hearted tone. Disney recently announced its crossover kart-racing game Disney Speedstorm would be coming to PlayStation and Xbox, and Disney has a long history of popular licensed games based on franchises like Aladdin and The Lion King. Now, Disney Dreamlight Valley brings together Disney franchises into a mix of life simulation and adventure.
Disney Speedstorm Confirms Baloo from The Jungle Book for the Roster
Disney officially revealed Disney Dreamlight Valley Wednesday through a new official YouTube channel for the game. Dreamlight Valley is presented as a mix of an Animal Crossing-esque life simulation along with several elements of adventure games from exploring a wide variety of unique locales to gathering resources and solving puzzles. Players will be able to fully customize their character's appearance and design their home, as well as interact and possibly accept quests
