With three different routes and multiple endings on offer, Digimon Survive offers players plenty of meaningful choices throughout its lengthy main story. The first choice of any real consequence comes during Part 3 of the game, with players asked to decide whether they believe Kaito or an unfamiliar woman who just happens to have shown up shortly after Miu went missing.

Fans of the Digimon anime may already recognize this woman, though even those who are new to the series should be able to tell that something isn't quite right. That said, she's able to convince several of the game's main characters of her innocence, which, together with Kaito's unnecessary aggressiveness toward her, might cause some players to think twice when asked to choose between Kaito and the unfamiliar woman in Part 3 of Digimon Survive.
After speaking with everybody, players will be asked whether they believe Kaito or the unfamiliar woman. Though this choice does have a slight impact on the story in the short term, the two branching pathways created by it quickly reconverge, with no lasting damage or consequences either way. That said, if players choose Kaito, they will get a few extra consumable items and the next battle that they take part in will be a little easier. Long story short, though, it doesn't really matter who players choose to side with.
If players choose Kaito, they'll head off into the woods after him and will be joined by Haru and Miyuki. On the next screen, they'll be able to witness a few unique conversations between the two siblings and can also find a bunch of consumable items by scanning the surrounding area with their camera.
