It's been an extremely busy few days for Bungie, with the recentDestiny 2 showcase giving fans their first major look at Lightfall and the darkness Strand subclasses, the Season of Plunder launching in the game, and the release of King's Fall. As many know, King's Fall was originally in the first Destiny and features the fight against Oryx, the Taken King, and now fans get to experience it again (or for the first time) inDestiny 2.
It's almost a given that anytime something within a franchise is revised, revisited, or adjusted, it's going to be compared to the original. Such was the case for the recent release of Saints Row, with many looking at it through the lens of one of the first four games, and the same can be said of the King's Fall raid. In fact, Destiny 1 is trending on Twitter as of this writing because fans are comparing the OG King's Fall to the Destiny 2 version. Perhaps interestingly enough, it seems some fans actually prefer the Destiny 1 version.

It's certainly a debate within the Destiny 2 community right now, as several social media accounts have shared images that compare the original to the recently released one. It would seem the primary reason some fans prefer the original is because of the atmosphere, generally speaking. Some believe that the Destiny 2 version adds too much color, and as such, makes it seem more cartoony compared to the original's atmosphere. Others, of course, have punched back by saying that nearly every detail of theDestiny 2 version has been improved, including graphics, lighting, color, and so on.
