Destiny 2's The Witch Queen is being regarded as one of the game's best expansion to date, possibly even the best release in the franchise, because of how well Bungie handled the campaign, the story, and all the additional content coming with it. Still, the actual endgame experience in Destiny 2 is now very different from what it was prior to The Witch Queen, and weapon crafting plays a big role in this shift.

Farming for weapons and armor pieces can be a disappointing in Destiny 2 because of how impactful RNG can be, both in terms of the chance to drop gear and what sort of perks an item ends up getting.
