Firefright is a new Auto Rifle in Destiny 2 that is part of the Haunted weapon set in Season 17. One of the best qualities of Firefright is that the weapon is a Precision Frame Auto Rifle, which means it has a predictably vertical recoil pattern. This type of weapon is perfect for new players in Destiny 2, and those who are new to the first-person shooter experience overall. With the right perks, players can maximize their damage output easily and make the most of this weapon.
Players can craft all weapons in Destiny 2, Season 17 that are part of the Haunted and Opulent sets, provided they have finished the five Deepsight Resonacne extractions needed. Every weapon in each of the two sets can only be crafted once that particular weapon's Deepsight Resonance variations have been extracted five times. Fortunately, acquiring a Deepsight variation of Firefright comes from the same sources as the standard version.

All Derelict Freighter activities have a chance to reward players with the Firefright Auto Rifle, such as Nightmare Containment and Sever. The same can be said for the Deepsight variation of the weapon, though it's much more difficult to acquire than its standard counterpart. Players can also find Opulent Keys in Destiny 2 to open Calus's personal chests around the Derelict Leviathan for a chance of getting Firefright, or one of the other weapons from the Haunted and Opulent sets. Lastly, players can directly focus Umbral Engrams at the Crown of Sorrow in the H.E.L.M. to get both variations once they've applied enough Figments of Darkness to the Crown's upgrades.
