Bungie had plenty of announcements during the Destiny 2 Showcase that was very exciting for players. Aside from the highly anticipated reveal of the Lightfall expansion (expected to release on February 28th, 2023), Bungie also revealed Season 18 of Destiny 2 along with the reprised Kingsfall Raid that comes out on Friday.
But that wasn't all; during the showcase, it was confirmed that Destiny 2 and all of its expansions would be coming to the Epic Game Store effective immediately. As an incentive to draw in new customers to the platform, Bungie is offering the Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack for free.

For players unfamiliar with this Destiny DLC, the Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack contains an exclusive Dungeon with a unique set of weapons and armor to chase, a quest to unlock the notorious Exotic Rocket Launcher known as Gjallarhorn, several sets of Armor Ornaments, and an Exotic Sparrow.
If players do not have the Epic Games Launcher installed, that is the first thing they should do. Aside from creating an Epic Games account (if they don't already have one), of course.
Next, players will need to open up the Launcher and navigate to the store where Destiny 2 is listed. Click the button that says Get, and the base game will be added to the players' collection.
One important step to keep in mind is that in order to actually claim the Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack, players must download the game as well in order to officially claim it. Once it has been claimed, players get to keep it.
