Destiny 2's Upcoming Quality-of-Life Features Prove Bungie Listens to the Fanbase
Destiny 2 is one of the biggest games on the market when it comes to the size of its universe, all the different activities that players can tackle, constant influx of content, and more. This often means Bungie has to be careful when planning new releases, as adding a specific feature — no matter how simple it may look — can be quite a challenging task due to all the moving parts inDestiny 2. Despite the franchise coming close to celebrating its eighth anniversary in September, some of the most-requested features from the community have yet to be added, starting with Destiny 2 not sunsetting expansions.
Bungie's August showcase included a short presentation of various additions that will come to Destiny 2 with the Lightfall expansion in February 2023. This includes a new Guardian rank system that gives players points for completing specific tasks within the game, an in-game LFG system that allows any player to find a team for Destiny 2 activities with no third-party apps, and a loadout system that makes switching between sets quick and seamless. Some of these features have been requested for years, and the fact that they will be coming with Lightfall proves Bungie is listening to the community.
