The first official DLC for Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles was shown off in a new trailer by Sega and Aniplex. A new character will be joining the fray first, and he's definitely a fan-favorite.
Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles is a 3D fighting game based off of the globally acclaimed Demon Slayer Manga/anime. It is developed by CyberConnect2, who also developed the .hack series as well as the Ninja Storm series based off another global Manga/anime giant, Naruto.

The DLC will be adding The Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui as a new character to the roster of Demon Slayer: The HInokami Chronicles. There is no set release date for the Tengen Uzui Character Pack DLC, it is expected to be available for purchase during the summer of 2022, with rumors saying as soon as July. The DLC will cost ¥550 in Japan, which roughly translates to be $4 in the US. More characters will be available in the future; including Daki, Gyutaro, and Nezuko in her Advanced Demon form. Sega said they will have more to share on the addition of these characters in the future.
The Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui was introduced in the most recent season of Demon Slayer during the Entertainment District Arc. Tengen Uzui is a former ninja who left his village and decided to become a Demon Slayer. His confidence, strength, and flashiness are all reflected in the skill set that we see on display in the trailer for his DLC. He uses a breathing style unique to him, indicative of his strength in the Demon Slayer universe. He will be the 19th character to be on the roster upon release.
With the Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc due in the Fall of 2023 and the franchise gaining more popularity with each season
