There are plenty of excited fans about a new installment inbound for Death Stranding. The famed developer started his own studio after Hideo Kojima split off from Konami. With their debut title being Death Stranding, fans worldwide can enjoy the first game on PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Fortunately, if you’re a fan of the game, then you know a sequel is in the works. Details are a bit scarce when it comes to Death Stranding 2, but we might see this game appear during The Game Awards 2023.
The Game Awards is an annual celebration event where we get to vote on some of the best games to have released within the year. Awards are then handed out to the developers for their incredible accomplishments. However, this event is also known for delivering several video game announcements and world premieres. Today, thanks to Tech4Gamers, we’re finding out that Hideo Kojima posted something on X that has fans speculating a new trailer is coming at The Game Awards 2023. Hideo only posted an image of The Game Awards, which doesn’t provide very much insight. We know The Game Awards is on December 7, 2023, and this image of the event alone has fans wondering if Hideo Kojima will present a trailer for Death Stranding 2 or if he will simply present an award. There’s really no telling right now, as we’ll have to wait and see. Of course, Hideo Kojima has been present at previous events hosted by Geoff Keighley, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Hideo attend.
